House Cleaning tips Las Vegas and Henderson Nevada | Mayberry's Maids

HOW TO CLEAN YOUR FRONT LOAD WASHER
1)Begin by filling the washing machine with hot water on the largest load setting. Make sure there is no laundry in the washer.
2)Add 2 cups of vinegar to the water to get rid of odor problems. (Most HE washers should have a “clean cycle” on it and you can add vinegar or bleach on that setting).
3)Allow the washing machine to run through a complete wash and rinse cycle.
Fill the washer a second time with hot water, also on the largest load setting.
4)Add 2 cups of bleach to the water to help with stain removal.
Again, allow the machine to run through a complete wash and rinse cycle.
If all of the stains are removed, run an additional cycle without adding anything to the water. This will thoroughly rinse away any remaining residue.
4)Remove the bleach dispenser and fabric softener dispenser and soak them in a bucket of warm water. When they have soaked long enough, remove them from the water, lay them on a towel, and spray them with an all-purpose spray cleaner. Wipe away any dirt with the towel.
5)Dry the dispensers and return them to their original places in the machine.
6)Finally, inspect the rubber door seal for mold and mildew. Pull back the seal to examine the hidden crevices. Mix 1 cup of liquid chlorine bleach with 1 gallon of warm water. Moisten a clean white cloth with the bleach water solution, then wipe down the seal to remove any mold and mildew. Allow the solution to remain on the seal for five minutes, then wipe down the door seal with a clean, dry white cloth.
how to clean your front loader
Follow these steps and your HE washer should be in tip-top shape once again and the stinky smell gone. Just remember…you need to do it REGULARLY! (once a month at least).

To keep the “smellies” from coming back…do the following EACH time you do a load of clothes:

1. Leave the door open after washing and always take items out of the washer when not in use.
2. Wipe down the rubber seal and drum.
3. Take the soap/softener drawer out to dry.

These simple steps should keep your HE washer running efficiently AND clothes smelling fresh! (the best of both worlds!)

Using the hottest water available, run the dishwasher through a cycle. The vinegar will help to wash away the loose, greasy grime, sanitizes, and helps remove the musty odor. Next, sprinkle a cupful of baking soda around the bottom of the tub and run it through a short cycle. The baking soda will help freshen and removing stains.... good to do every 6 months Ask for more information call us in our office at (702) 474-MAID (6243) Mayberry's Maids Las Vegas and Henderson Premier house cleaning services

Household Cleaning Tip From Mayberry's Maids Las Vegas and Henderson NV Premier House Cleaning Service

Here’s what you need:

2 cups bleach
2 cups white vinegar
microfiber cloth

Start by filling your washing machine with hot water. Set the dials to the biggest load and hottest setting and let it fill up. Then pour 2 cups of bleach into the water. Close the lid for about 1 minute and let the water agitate/get all mixed up.

Then let the bleach water sit for about 1 hour. {My washer has a timer built in so it started draining after about 2o minutes. I just reset the dial to the beginning of the cycle so it had another 20 minutes.} After the hour is up, run the washer through a cycle.

After the cycle is complete, fill your washer with hot water again. This time, pour the 2 cups of white vinegar into the water. Again, mix up the water by closing the lid for 1 minute. Let it sit for another hour.

Please note how disgustingly cloudy my water was because my washer was so dirty! Yuck.

I then took a sponge, and dipping it in the vinegar mixture, wiped down the lid, dials, and dispensers. {Vinegar has amazing cleaning powers and helped make everything sparkly clean!}

After an hour of letting the vinegar water sit, run your washer through another cycle.

Then use a microfiber cloth to scrub, wipe, and buff away any grime inside your washer drum. {Trust me… a regular sponge won’t work. I tried. The waxy grime didn’t want to come off with a sponge… but it came off like a dream with a microfiber cloth!}

And now my washing machine sparkles! And I don’t have to worry about all that grimy nasty stuff getting on our clothes.

Most manufacturers say to do this is at least twice a year. Some say that you should do it as regularly as once a month. Hooray for no more stranger’s grimy-ness!  Call for more questions on how regular household items can serve you around you home Mayberry's Maids (702) 474-MAID (6243)
